I enjoy the process of art making and have explored many different techniques combining mixed media, textiles, mosaic, photography, printing, painting and drawing.

Sometimes it is tricky to grasp what may inform the mood and subject matter of an artist's work,
particularly when it is created in an almost instinctive way.
The finished piece may take time to reveal to the artist why it was that they were led to explore and create in a certain style.
It is working with this balance between the conscious and subconscious that appeals to me.
I paint and create and then examine and reflect.
Through this process i have realized that I am fascinated by...
Nature's transience and journeys. Cycles of growth and decay, vulnerability and magic
The Solid insistence of nature; both within the natural world and within ourselves
Uncovering the layers to seek this essence. Light and life.
